Need help I have 6 inch jackplate 15 inch mid Bob's lwp 1/4 below running a 245 HP carburetor motor only running around ,84 mph I was told I need 10 inch jackplate
10 inch plate is way to much for a vking and with that 15" mid you could probably get away with a 4" plate.
If it was a vulture or a Vegas I could see a 10" plate for sure but way overkill for a vking.
Also, start with the prop shaft even with the pad seeing that you have a lwp and adjust from there. I know a few guys that end up an inch above the pad.
