76 vector restore
Re: 76 vector restore
Doing the same thing on the other side. I will let it cure for a couple of days before I grind the edges and lay down the 1708.

After another trip to the supply house to pick up 4 more gallons of resin I layed the 1708 over the other side of balsa. Now I am looking at the dark hole that needs grinding, I am itching just thinking about it. Looks like time to get new tyvek suit and 36 grit disk.

Re: 76 vector restore
Looks great. Keep it up. Did you get enough resin up in the bow? that looks a little light which makes me wonder if it is stuck down properly or has some air pockets in it. Not saying it's wrong. Just though it looks an awful lot like the part I did and had to pull off and re-do. I ended up going through a lot more resin then I thought I would also. Bill

I am off work for a few days and the weather is in the 80's with no rain.
Today I will fill the voids around core.-

Re: 76 vector restore
Looking good! I'm going through a ton more resin than I expected on my ventura rebuild. I used 11 gallons already and I'm not sure I will be able to finish it with another 5! I love the look of the balsa core btw.
