In the past I have shrink wrapped my boats but this year I rented a 30x49 storage shed and rented out the extra space.

My Voodoo spends 11 months a year parked outside at our place in Canada. We string a rope from the motor to bow (to screate a "tent") and cover with two tarps all covered with thick clear plastic. It has been stored this way for the last 10 of the 12 years I've had it. Always looks good when I uncover it in the summer.

The project Viper stays covered outside with a single "cheap WalMart" boat cover with again, a rope from stem to motor.

I haven't had any problems, however shrinkwrap is a much better system.
