I have a johnson 150hp on a viper and would like to know if though your trials have found them to be a plus or a negitive in both speed and whole shot ? thanks looking forward to hearing your feedback.

I run a allison hydrofoil on my vegas and will also on my viper, noticeable on holeshot.

yes a whale tale. i have heard mixed reviews about them. some say they have gained speed and others not. some say better gas milage and others not. i have heard from all it will get you out to plain faster and cuts down on cavitation and porpusing. just wondering if anyone has used them on a viper with a similar powered motor with a 24- 27 pitch 14-15 inch prop. i do pull skurfers but at at much higher speed than a wake board with much less drag. my motor is new 150 johnson. thanks for your input.

As soon as you're on plane it's out of the water so it won't do anything after.
