I skiied the course compettively in high school but had a problem getting out of bed early enough to make the first heat . I would tear the others up in the last two though. I used an Obrien Competetor, edge to edge cave, all my friends were scared of it because of the response. I loved it because it would never slide out from under you , I still have it today but a little scared of useing it ,i am too old to take some of those falls74vector wrote:Hi Guys,
By the way I am a tournament slalom skiier as well as recreational barefooter, I have a Sanger inboard ski boat for that stuff now but, back in the day (late 70's, early 80's) I skiied and footed a lot behnd my Vector, I had a ski pylon tripod, two legs mounted to the transom, third on the floor. There was a lot of bow rise and it struggled pulling a long line deepwater B.F. start, not because of lack of power it was the stern just dug in, I would imagine that the Vulture will be a lot better in this regard. The wakes were pretty good for crossing, the table not too bad. Slalom was a dream, no wake at all, a little squirrly in the course, again the Vulture should be better than the Vector for this too.

I used acetone after I was done grinding then just before I was laying any glass I sanded with 36 grit by hand to get a good mechanical bond to the old glass.kytekeith wrote: What do i use for final clean up? I heard acytone . anybody have suggestions?
