Yeah, there are two types of hydrostreams, ones that need new core, floor, stringers, and transom, and ones that have had it all replaced already. If a hydrostream is original, its rotten. But dont let that discourage you what so ever cause think of it this way, once its all replaced, and replaced right, that boat will last another 30+ years easy for a fraction of the cost of a brand new boat and you will be way cooler still.
