Re: Viper rebuild
Looks like my Viper will be finishing it's restoration in Southern Michigan. Got it loaded on the trailer and took it for a
"rough" ride this afternoon to see how things will travel. It's about a 4 hour trip of mostly highway. When you look at the pics, understand things are just roughed in till I get there. I'm building a new shop and progress will slow down for a bit on the Viper.

Re: Viper rebuild
After bouncing the rig down some crappy roads, checked the transom to see if there was any signs of stress. Pretty sure with the 1/4" t-6061 aluminum plate on the back, the knees built into the transom along with the added gussets screwed and glassed into the splashwell, transom fatigue and/or sheer won't be an issue.

Re: Viper rebuild
I have not been able to work on the Viper since August. I got married in September and moved to southern Michigan. Since I moved from my shop in Indy, had to build a new shop. The new shop is built and all the electric has been run. Working on insulation and heat now and will need to get the new building "tooled" up. Hope to be back at it sometime soon.
Thanks for the inquire.

Re: Viper rebuild
The Viper is patiently waiting for some more attention! Snow is flying outside and it hasn't gotten over 20 degrees in quite awhile. With no shop heat yet...motivation levels are pretty low.
