i am in need of a windshield. not at this moment but for sure by the time i get my boat finish. all i need is the shield i have boat top and bottom frame.
any ideas on where i can get one? is it cheaper to get it made from a plastic shop ?

I wouldn't use Plexiglas for a winshield. It is brittle as hell and razor sharp if/when it breaks from someone leaning on it. Look into Lexan. Race car parts suppliers sell it in bulk sizes.

Or see if alaskastreamin will make you a fiberglass one. He made a mold and made the one on his Viper out of fiberglass and just gel coated/painted it black.

I dont know how well you can see the whole thing in this picture but its all fiberglass and looks great. I would love to make a mold of the one I have and see if I could sell a few maybe.

If you had an old one you could maybe piece it together and make a mold and go that route.
