well thank you all very much unfortunately im as indesisive now as ever i know weight will b an issue w a vector but i thought w out setback a v6 was doable. i def. need close to a 100mph but crazy accelaration is a must so i was leaning toward the looper w them having more torque n b n able to turn...

thats what i was afraid of only cus i know where theres a crossflow cheap although i didnt kno about the torque vs a merc wich is really interesting thank you it looks like that narrows my search quite a bit .....how do you feel about the early yami s?

thanx for the info my vector came w the 175 ......any older 2.4 or 2.5 s out there possibly need n refresh it ll b my first outboard rebiuld but not first two stroke n im kinda lookn forward to do n one y r the mercs so much more sought after im not religous to either just NEED a good deal on sumth ...

I was also hooked about that age when i saw a vector chine walk n up the mullica at about 80 sumth n .........pretty fast for a river boat back then
