Ok since I'm finally going to do this I've got the Duraglass what kind of putty/epoxy would you recommend to smooth it up with?

What part of PA were you thinking about? I live in central PA and have acess to 2 really good lakes for our boats. Plus theres a few more a couple hours away.

Ive got a 225 looper that someone put what looks to be a bobs lower unit with low water pickup on it. However whoever installed it did a horrible with smoothing out the nose cone with putty. Seems like he's avoiding the core question. I know when I bought my Vegas last year I looked at a few boats and everyone was shy about answering the core question. Oh well goes with the territory of these boats.
