I noticed a little wear on my good block last week and wanted to inspect it before any damage could happen to the block so I ended up pulling my untested used 2.4 200 on Wednesday night and swapping it out. Once I got it on my mid I first found a bad switchbox then a bad stator. I went to Omaha with a untested completely stock powerhead and some new-used untested carbs.
This is how it started.
It ran on Friday and I had the jetting rich as heck but it was safe.

Catchin a little air.
There was a good head wind so there were a couple times the bow kited on me a little to high to be comfortable. My Buddie Tim came with and took over 700 pictures so I'm going through them now.

It ran a lot better than expected, I'm still working bugs out big time. I ran out of nitrous in the 95 mph class and got my butt handed to me by a modified jet ski but I was the last outboard standing. I beat 2 allisons a 260 powered xb202 and a ss with a 280. I wasn't expecting to make near as many passes as I did. I went through my 7 gallons of gas and had to borrow some and I went through 10 lbs of nitrous.
I will post some picks of lake racer 3 tomorrow.

Thanks guys, this weekend was big for me I have spent every night trying to get this to come together and it all did. I am still on top of the world. I had people telling me I'm stupid for running so much power on a 15' boat but I proved that it will work.
This is pictures of me and Barefoot Bob from s&f, he is the guy that started my addiction to performance boats 3 years ago. I meet up with the club in my 55mph bass boat on a play day and had a blast with it. At the end of the day I asked Bob for a ride in his Allison and we hit 102 in it before that I had never been 70. Since then I have been on a quest to hit 100 in one of my own boats. Anyway beating Bob was like beating my mentor, bitter sweet he took it well and now has a new respect for my "little Hydrostream".
