switch box wh/bl wires

noticed that the white with black stripe wires on my 200 efi mercury were no connected but on the switch boxes i have all modules ect.. off the boat seen were some say to connect them together i touched them together motor seemed to idle up a little any help here what these wires do when connected together and y

White with black goes to the idle stabilizer . Sounds like yours was removed. Supposed to bump idle up if it drops below 500 rpm's. Advances timing I believe. I would unplug as not to over time at higher rpm's and detonate.

Also a white/ red. (only these two come out of the stabilizer) White/ blk Goes to top left terminal on the outer switch box then jumps to top left on inner box. Only wire on that terminal.

The White/ red is on the top right terminal on the outer box only. Shares that terminal with the same color wire from the stator.

so i do need to wire them back together or leave undone so there not connected to both switch boxes yes i have no idle stabilazer
