Well after working on a pontoon all day and finishing up a rebuild on a 150 merc I was able to get it wet. I had the guy I rebuilt the motor for meet me at the lake to do a little test run while I did the same with the viper. I told the guy to keep it under 3500 for 2 hours so what does he do leaves it idle at 3000the dock while he parks his truck. I was a little pissed but he didn't think he was doing anything wrong.
So It was dark and I don't have any lights on the boat but I put in and ran it for about 15 min before my fuel pump decided to start blowing fuses. Luckily my dad watched me paddle my vegas with a waterski last year and bought me a nice collapsible paddle.
I just threw on a 27 srx and was trying hole shots and this thing is going to be fun, and this was without the spray. It was faster out of the hole than my vegas with a 22 merc et. So I'm thinking for racing I will end up with a 24 for the 85 mph class and a 26 and spray for the 95, but at this time it's just a guess.
I took the camera without batteries so I didn't get any pictures in the water, but i will try again tomorrow.
