Hippie, glad to see the good progress. Chet and Rick, I am so jealous. We have 82 today, but back to 30's at night by next week. One day in the shop with the heat and I am so glad I worked in the cold weather. Bill

Re: 1977 Vulture Rebuild
Sorry, It was dark by the time I got home and baby is keeping me busy all day today but as soon as its nap time I will go snap a few pics and try to get em up. The 2 plywood strips they used for a way to screw the floor down are out, good portion of the 'new' stingers are out, the bulkhead at the front of the seat box is out. Now to get the plywood core out. Sunday will be the day. Baby is going to grandmas all day so we hope to get alot done. I will have pics soon though. Its coming along. Finally!!!! Still have to get up in the bow though. Ugh...
Bill, Going to shoot you a PM here in the next day or so. Got a few questions for ya.

Hippie what are you using to get the old resin off? I found this makes short work of removing resin but you have to be careful.

I used 36 grit sanding disks without a backing plate to keep it flexible.

Chet, thank you. It will be a bit yet before I get there though. Still firm on my water ready date of mid July though.

Re: 1977 Vulture Rebuild
Well, I have only been at it for about 15 minutes today but got most the carpet out up front, hot foot out, piece of soaking wet wood that was a small floor up under the bow. Not to much to see really but its going somewhere.

And then I decided to see what was under that bad glass job in the pad area that was under the seat box and guess what I found. Some mud! That stuff is so wet you could put a fire out with it.

I am waiting for my help to get here then hopefully we can get a lot of it knocked out today.
