Just got off the phone with Billy at bottomsup. Great guy!!! He said when I'm ready to put the trim on the boat, he knows what style was used and where to get it. He is friends with Aaron and they were both trying to help Howard .

Been working with Dustin at countyview marine (thanks for the tip Ronnie) on a trailer. First one was too short.
No galv or aluminum ones but since this will be a fresh water boat now, we are looking at painted ones. Prefer C channel frames over boxed ones. We'll see what he comes up with.

If all goes as planned, we'll be at Aarons shop Sunday May 6th.
Need to pick up fiberglass materials at Express composites so will either stay overnight and head out Mon am or pre-pay for materials and have at Aarons shop so we can head back. All depends on the drive over and how we feel.
Our truck is pretty comfy for trips. This is how you get a car and a boat down from Alaska for the price of one.

Hopefully we can meet some of you while there.

The Virage style is not the shape known for HydroStreams,..................however...........Howard said it was the most stable 'Stream he designed. (From the Registery) It's too bad the Virage has not been brought back because it has a lot going for it with few drawbacks. It is arguably the most solid Stream ever built

Just made a deal on this little gem. (one in background) Factory 15" offshore mid, tuner, pump, and cowl plate and skirt. ( I have a mold for the cowl) From good friend Bob Garone (Marine 2000) in NY.

Wow thats a nice truck!

A 20ft virage would have been the ticket!

There is a virage in the Netherlands. Probably the only virage on the other side of the atlantic

They have popped a flyweight boat out of the Virage molds already. It's gonna be interesting.

I spoke with Aaron about the molds. He "said" they were junk.
He was pretty tight lipped when I asked about some secret project
Being created in his shop.

I'll see if I can get a peek when I'm over there in 4 weeks

Yes Bob is a great guy! Get nothing but the absolute best quality stuff from
Him. Got this factory mid for less than similarly listed junk ones Plus threw in
Pump and cowl parts.
