I'm working on a 260 at home for a guy that's running way rich and can't find anything wrong with it after testing everything electrical and mechanical. I decided to pull all the electronics off my 280- I'm running 260 electronics. My harnesses are a mess that i had planed repairing this winter and I was in a rush to get everything on so I could take it to the lake first thing when I get home tomorrow night. In my hast I didn't see a purple tracer on a red wire that should power the fuel pump from my brand new Brucato acu. Well, I hooked it to power and thought I was done so I hooked up the batt and shut the batt compartment I took 2 steps away from the boat and could smell burning plastic so I turned to see the magic smoke pouring out of my acu as I rushed to unhook the batt. I guess that's what I get for working on a Allison
