Well guys I went and bought a a big deck boat I no not a stream but I still have 2 streams so a compramise with the little lady was a must .She dose like the Voyager & the Valero but wanted somthing we could take more friends out on aka hotties . I found a blank hull in the lake of the Ozarks and Im going to attempt to put a outboard on it instead of a I/o but Im looking for a tube style gill bracket .Dose anybody no where I can locate someone that makes them ?. Any input well be greatly appreciated.
LOL ....I have never heard of that.
I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer sometimes.
Looking at some on D&D marine, interesting but pricey.
Could you fill the transom and use a jackplate?
I am going to be converting the Jet Boat to an outboard and plan on just using a jackplate somewhere in the 8-10" I think. Not really sure yet. But then again this is only an 18ish foot boat. Now that I think about it, I have no idea how long it is. Never measured it before but I know its not bigger then an 18 footer. lol
Well found one in Fl and it just so happens that my buddie was on Vaction there so he Picked it up for me . Supposedly cost was 2200$ got it for 350$ nice stainless one . Well have to make a couple Cause I got a tunnel boat that needs daul 150s or 200s on it . The amstrong ones look nice but not quite as racey looking as the gill units.
I know where there's 2, but they're attached to a 26 foot Baja and holding up a pair of Johnson GT 200's. It's the boat I was going to buy before I decided on my 'stream. The boat's rotten, owner was asking way too much for it. I can put you in contact with him to see if he wants to part it out though. It's in Bracebridge, Ontario Canada.
