John Spaeth is closer to you I put about 4000 miles on my truck going back and forth about my boat being built and its only 150miles from me one way I started the process dec 2009 and got the boat finally finished Aug 2010 Its was a slow process cause he only builds one Thundersteam at a time and builds many center console ( Boston Whaler type ) many at once. When it came to the interior he didnt have an inhouse shop , had to send it out took long . Dave a great guy BUT his brother well that another story and his brother is the money person of the business

Oh really? Wow thats great to know.....Looks like I'm gonna be keeping my purchase in Canada! 4000 miles in your own region wow! Thats dedication!....just so I know what i'm getting into, What were the items that required travel to and from to get figured out that couldn't be solved by email or a phone call?

Thanks so much for your input guys

He is stating that he just went there to see his boat being built and thats all. He didnt have to go back and forth but he he just wanted to see the progress in person and show off a few pictures of it to us here and there.

Just a big kid wanting to see how his boat is made. Thats all.
