I have a '76 viper and am in need of a new windshield. The frame of the windshield is good, really just need the glass. Any suggestions on where I can get the glass only? Thanks!

I read online that the glass is difficult if not impossible to purchase new.
Has anyone tried lexan?

You can get them from the guy that is making the minx, or John speth out of Canada. I don't have phone #'s though.

I HAVE NOT SOLD ONE, BUILT THE MOLD FOR MY OWN USAGE, BUT SOMEBODY ELSE ASKED ABOUT BUYING A SHIELD, TOO. I CAN DO ONE OUT OF FIBERGLASS (WON'T BE TRANSPARENT BUT MUCH STRONGER) FOR $175.

BY THE WAY, A BUDDY OF MINE IN ANOTHER STATE IS PROBABLY GOING TO HAVE ME SEND HIM ONE IN 2 OR THREE PIECES. THEN SIMPLY BEVEL AND GLASS BACK TOGETHER, THEN PAINT. TO SHIP IN THREE PIECES IS PROBABLY LIKE $20, IF THAT.

Give me a couple of weeks and maybe we can work something out. Got a few other bills I need to get taken care of first.
