I'm rebuilding my viper going to put in a 4 or 6 piece stringer system with 2 possibly 4 of them having knees to tie in the transom. If anyone gas pictures of theirs I'm open to suggestions besides the ones that I have drawn out and the others still in my head have not been put on paper yet

Check out my "restoring Ventura 2" thread half way down the page. I did a stringer setup and beat it up all summer. Holding up very well. Going to take it out after work today.

No problem. I don't think the stringer setup is very popular around here so maybe that's why nobody replied. I'm happy my core will never get wet again.

BTW, my Ventura has been to 90mph turning a 28 trophy. 80 shouldn't be a problem for you.

Another stringer boat here, see the Vector in my sig that runs 85 in the quarter with a stock 200XRi. Hell the Vamp is getting a stringer set up too. No core for this guy.

I did a Viper stringer and core rebuild. Has yet to be tested though as it is not completely finished yet. http://hydrostreamforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2090
