Well I stepped up and bought a boat that doesn't need any structural repair, it actually doesn't need much at all it's just been sitting for 5 or 6 years and some rigging need to be changed.

I plan on taking it to work and getting a weight tomorrow.
It didn't stop raining today and I didn't have room in the shop so I didn't get a whole lot done. I did get it to the car wash and removed the first layer of grime.

The first thing on the list is to remove the 2 40lb anchors and install my 123 cell batteries.

It already has a aeromotive fuel pump and filter so I just need to replace the fuel lines.

The dash is set up nicely and I plan on getting some seat time before setting the trim computer. I will be using a progressive nitrous system in this that I had planed on using in the vking.

This was the first time I have sat in one of these, I was quite amazed at the limited view. Due to the rain it's a crappy picture but you get the idea.

WoW! Looks awesome and cant wait to see this and also follow along as you get this set up.

Is it going to be making its first appearance at the Albert Lea race?

Oh yeah, Just one thing that just might have to go if it can.... The Taco sign. LoL

I am assuming you going to be using the v-king power plant on this.

It should be safer for the speeds I want. I never even hooked up the nitrous in the vking but now it's going to get some use :D

I was wrong about the optima batteries, not only are they junk they are 45#'s so I took 90#'s out of it then weighed it tonight. It came in at 578 with most of the rigging in including full fuel system, trim, and steering. Bare hull has to be under 500 so it's about the same as the vking.

I'm thinking a couple blue bottles will fit perfectly where the batts were.

I wish all boats were this easy to lift, one center eyelet.

You going to be using that shifter from the v-king in this at all? Just wondering.
