Heading to Texas

After talking with one of the guys in the club last night about a boat for sale down in Texas he called me at work today and asked what I was doing this weekend. I had planed on grinding on the vking but a road trip sounds like a lot more fun. We are leaving at 3 on Friday and have a short pitstop to make at the lumberyard in Iowa "it's been a couple years since I have been there" then on to Texas to pick up a Quartermaster. I know it's not a stream but it's the one boat I would trade my stream for. The plan is to put a drag on it and run nitrous or alcohol, eather way I'm thinking I have my work cut out for me to keep up.

Welcome to Texas, Y'all. :)

...but where in Texas? It's a big place, maybe 17 hrs. to the closest point, over 24 to the furthest. :o

I'm right in the middle. Stop by and I'll buy y'all a beer and some classic Tx. bbq.

(...and I'm still interested in that para-lift).

Have a great time!

Rut, I figured at least you would get that. I asked a cop where to go on our way back from Oklahoma a couple years ago and he told us about it, Excellent Talent.

I Guess it's a hour from Dallas, should be about 17 hours but we are taking a Dodge diesel with 410's in it so it will take a bit longer to get there.

I got it to right away, I just didnt say anything.

I can do Dallas in 16 hours from Minneapolis in the Semi so you better do it in 14 hours! Oh yeah, Dont take 35 all the way. Thats the long way. Just saying. :)
