Well it's been a while

Been a while since I've logged on here.

The short of it is I had my Looper let go and ended up replacing it with a 2.5 EFI Merc 200. Got it hung this weekend, yanked the lower off, getting ready to slap a Bob's nosecone on it, and just waiting for the weather to warm up and get 'er out and get 'er wet. Been shopping for props and still trying to track down a steering rod and bracket for the Merc, but otherwise, just finishing cleaning it all up to hurry up and wait. :)

Anywho, can't wait to catch up with you guys when the weather gets a tad warmer.

Dustin

Hopefully my Vulture will see water this year. I am itchen to get this thing done really bad now that I got my move done and over with (Started snowing shortly after I moved) and some new things lined up that should allow me to put a few more pennies aside (Not many more but every little bit helps) for getting the bird on the water.

I seen pics of the Merc on the pallet. Looks good. Post up some pictures of the new power on the boat. Cant wait to see it. :)

Hippie - Thanks, I can't wait to get it out!

Rut - It's a '90 3L 200HP Looper. I think I'll probably keep it to build some moderate HP levels and hang on the back of a Velocity or Super Boat honestly. I don't want to part it out, and I don't think I'll get what I want out of it, so I'm sure I'll end up holding on to it.

Do you need the arm that comes off the tiller arm? I might have one as well as the bar to attach the 2 steering cables.

I need the arm that attatches to the bar that attatches the cables, if that makes sense. As well as the triangle that bolts to the motor that the arm is attatched to with hardware.

Let me know if that makes sense Chet

Thanks again

Dustin

No problem, yeah I hope it's not flooded so bad either. It looks like we'll be good if the white stuff this winter holds off like it has been. (Other than today/tonight lol)
