Lats 2 places I was going to work on mine at fell through so its no go for me right now. I was planning on having all the core and transom out by the end of the year but not gonna happen unless I can find some work space before then.
Good luck and keep them pictures coming.

If I had all that land you have, I think I would have a pole barn with about 5 projects in it. Have ya thought about it? LOL I'm sure you have

Trust me, I would love to but being a truck driver and the economy not being so hot work has been super slow and then add a 4 1/2 month old kid into it and money is more than tight.

Looks like the airplane hanger place to work on the boat fell threw.

Suprise.

Oh well. I'll keep looking while I get as much done w/o removing the stringers as possible. If I get that far, I'll get it off the trailer and work in the garage.

I'd like to buy another boat if I can get a place to work on VNo2. Them I could prep another boat. Rick, if you had a pull barn you'd have more friends then you need.

Thanks Hippie. Wish I had the room right now. Gotta find a place to work first. I'm looking.

I'll be knocking out more core today. It's slow and the holidays are cutting into the progress. Might get a few of the jasckplate bolts loose today if I feel up to it.

When in doubt, cut em out! I hope mine come loose fairly easily. How much set back is on your jackplate? I have a 10" set back on mine and hear that is about ideal for a vulture to get more of the weight to the real of the bow to get more bow lift out of them. But thats just what I have read. I have seen a vulture with 12" setback that ran great and one with 6" set back that ran great too but never know, they could each have run better with more or less. I just dont know but I am sticking with my 10".
