It goes up under the shelf or sometimes called the air box. Dont have a good pic of it up there.
I would say a couple feet in front of the first bulkhead. As you see, no air box in mine. That took alot of weight out.
Working under the bow was the worst of it all. I even had my shop vac running with the hose up there when grinding.
Not a friendly atmosphere up there when your grinding or even when laminating.
Ok - It's all getting replaced. Got down to the core on the passenger side and found a lot of rot. Not suprised. I'm chiseling away and making some progress but its slow. There are a lot of places that it still looks good. Those come of real slow. Hippie, I have some plywood in the back along the stringers also. About 1 foot long and out about 6 inches to the side. I will get some time to post a bunch of pictures before the weekend is over. More work on it tonight. Last night 21 outside. Thank god for space heaters. Bill
Alright - I promised to send some pictures up and my computer is back so here goes. Probably more then you all want to see. Also, I will post a few pictures of VultureNo1 and my other favorite rides in the boat show section if I can figure it out. Make sure and check it out. Don't hold back on the criticism or coments. If you didn't see as picture of what you wanted, just ask, I probably have it. This is basically a picture recap of the road until now to get it caught up. Enjoy! Bill
knocked about half of one side out last night. Sore check from leaning over the side of the boat and chiseling. I'm sure I will be back at it today as time permits. Haven't heard about a place to work on it yet. was hoping I would get an answer yesterday.
