Thanks! My goal for this build is a resto-mod feel. I want it to look as original as possible, but with newer gauges, better rigging, and updated interior while maintaining the original style. I want a radio in it, but it needs to be hidden. So the speakers are underneath and the head unit will be mounted to the brace below the windshield. The head unit can be completely controlled via a phone app so I don't need to see the face.

The boat is out of the cradle and flipped over for the bottom work. Repair all the damage, blueprint the last 6', and spray new gel with the same metal flake.

I finished glassing in the splash well before flipping the hull. Made a simple mold to form the drain in the well. Used parchment paper to cover it for a release.

The hull/deck seam was glassed on the inside with 2" CSM and 4" 1708.

Started in on the bottom work. Found an awful lot of stress cracks, any of those that I could catch with a finger nail I ground out and patched in with CSM. Most spots only needed one or two layers of mat. I'm now working on the blueprinting process. I have the first layer of body filler in and sanded and starting in on the remaining low spots.

Adding to your thread here Tony, if you'll forgive me, based on what you mentioned in the Facebook post. Just in case someone reads here instead of FB.

You used AdTech P-14 Ultra Filler:

3M Guide Coat

Duratec Vinylester Primer

The Express Composites link above mentions 2 different Primers - regular and Fairing. Which one did you use?

No problem at all, Adam. That is everything I used. The VE primer is the regular primer, not fairing primer.

The vinylester primer...you just brushed/rolled it on?

Also, how much did you use?
