Hi all, I liked that video of the brown viper, I will call them during the week. I got the boat late friday afternoon. After taking a quick look at it I figured I wasted my money- yes he did strengthen the transom on the inside- but there are chips and big nicks on the keel and the boat has alot of stress cracks in the gel coat - I mean alot- yeah the interior is new - but that means nothing if the hull needs refinishing or recoring. Im sorry I bought this. Im trying to get him to take the boat back (he miss represented it). : :(

Yeah I saw it on there, it looked pretty good from the pics, the thing I thought of when he said he added knee braces on the transom was that it was weak to begin with, cause with a good transom on that light of boat with a v6 I don't think you would need knee braces, I saw where Chet put some in his but he is also drag racing and has juice on it.

Hi, he told me he brought the boat to a marina in houston and told them he wanted to put a 150 merc on it and take off the old 115 merc- they told him to put a jack plate on it and beef up the transom because the new motor weighs 150 lbs more than the old one. My neighbor is looking at the boat right now- he knows alot about fiberglass strength . I will still be calling Ronnie's shop on monday- as for the owner giving me my money back I have a better chance of being hit by lightning. To think I turned down a Action 18 boat with a custom 2.4 liter race merc for this boat- I liked the lines and the hull design on the hydro stream over the other boat. Oh well this was an expensive lesson to learn.

Hi, spoke to Ronnies partner late today- am going to bring the boat to him one night this week. His partner said Ronnie would be able to tell me if the boat is safe or a dud. His partner said if the boat is ok then the price I paid was a decent deal- how ever he also said if the boat is junk then I got screwed . I am keeping my fingers crossed. I will let you all know once I find out.
