Moved on to everyone's favorite part of the recore, the bow. Got some small patches laid down the middle to thicken up were I had to grind. Haven't been able to work on it a whole lot this week, hopefully by the end of next week I will be wrapping up with the core. Since I didn't get out of work early enough to get the supply's I need for the bow core and stringers I started cutting and dry fitting the floor and splashwell delete

Open to suggestions on fuel tank sizes and brands. I have an aluminum 17 gallon that seems to fit well but would prefer bigger also on the lookout for high back racecar seats (just kidding hippie don't ban me). Ive seen what look like allison buckets with hydrostream logos on them, where can I find those?

I think the one in my Vulture is only 17 gallons. I can't remember off hand but with the big old two thirsty five, I dont know how far I will be able to go. lol I might looks at getting a tank custom made. that will fit my needs and get me up towards the 20 gallon mark. We'll see I guess.

You almost had me there... :pound: There are a few guys online making allison buckets. I can ask Dan Bulger. I think he can make some.

Got some glass laid in the bow and on the honeycomb for the splashwell delete. Does anyone happen to have a link or part number for the black covers I see people put over the factory rub rail? Mine is fairly beat up and I have no interest in spending my life drilling rivets out. Thanks
