Lol. Well that's a good question. The power I put on my boat changes with the wind. I used to run a super mod v4 shown in the pic on the previous page. It ran great and went 84mph on my boat but it also ran on race gas so I decided to upgrade to a stock gt 150 v6 on a 16 inch mid. It ran just a little slower just way cheaper to run. But last year that blew up so now I'm in the processe of modifying it a little so it is faster then my old v4 just not running on race gas.
Thanks guys! I really love the boat. It is a blast to drive and will always keep it just needs new gel at some point. So hydromirk, what are you planning for your vandal?
Let's see center steer ether dual cable or cable and pulley steering two seats one behind the other.full core and floor with stringers.i would love to hope up a v4 with a short mid and racing lower and bored over with mad efi
Are you thinking v4 looper or v4 crossflow? And I have a really good guy that shortens mid sections. And are you planning on having exposed stringers or a floor over the stringers? And are you using this just for drag racing or all around use?
I'm not sure if I want to go with looper v4 power or cross flow I'm thinking looper I'm going to be racing and on weekends maybe run around the river and I think I'm going with a stringer bottom and a floor mount for the seats not shire yet,any suggestions bruzercomp
Well I suggest going with a looper. I went with a crossflow and maxed it out at mid 80's but I know a guy running a looper at closer to 90 on a heavier Ventura II and he is still running on pump gas. And for the floor I would just run a regular floor. I went with the stringer set up and all said and done ended up using the same amount of wood on the floor as we would have on a floor and its way harder to work on and mount things too.
