but yes i didnt even start grinding the core yet.. i am redoing that i bought it how it is.. i still have alot of grinding to do.. the transum will be the hardest part

It might be fine but you won't know until you start tearing into it. That front air box weighs a tone you might want to cut it out and put a truck inner tube up there to still have flotation and to save weight.
