My download cable mysteriously re-appeared yesterday. Here is a picture of the shop. The first picture has the VNo2 on it's supports and the tow rig. The guy who paint the wall has a eye for how to paint a stream. Second is the paint booth. Bill
Yup. the hoods a little dented up. I think it belongs to the guy who rented me the garage. Weather has been bad here and have a busy weekend. I won't get back on it until next week. We are looking at temps in the 20's for the next 6 days. But I am ready for one last push to get ready to start building her up again.
Bill, you shure you didn't come here and steal my plank! Looks just like mine. LOL. I supported my bow like that too. When I was grinding WAY up in the bow, the stern would get real light. Scared the crap out of me. Looks good
Couldn't believe it when the old workmate with the legs folded up and a piece of carpet on it fix under there perfectly. In the back at the chines. regular heavy duty car jacks with a piece of cedar decking wood and again a piece of carpet. It is as sturdy as can be. Rick, I feel like I'm still on schedule for the spring. Only setback would be if the engine acts up. I had it started a couple of times and it ran and sounded great, but no true in the water tests yet. This week has been to busy to work on it. It hard to have it sitting over there and I can't get time to work on it, but that's life sometimes. Bill
Here is a picture of the rot I found under the glass between the stringers. The stringers finally came out after I got it off the trailer and supported. Bill
Offers good. That spot where the trailer is needs another stream. Is that $699 V-King still near you? I know it's a long way from you, but if you want to work on it on the weekends? How about that Vulture for sale in St Louis? Good price. Wish I had extra cash. Bill
I drove by there yesterday and they are not out there but but no one was home either so I dont know for sure and I dont have the number off hand to call.
That Vulture in STL is sweet! Wish I had the $$ cause I would have drug it home a year ago when it was for sale.
