If it really doesn't need a core, you got really lucky.

Man I'll say. Does it look like it's been worked before?

Re: 1980 Hydrostream Vector
I think I would take a closer look and make sure it doesn't need a core? If it hasn't been done there is a high chance it needs it. If you can see signs of it already being done or know the history, maybe. I was on the fence with getting into mine and thought I probably could get a couple years out of mine first, but when I got in there it was way worse then I thought it was. Mine was partially redone once and some plywood was added instead of core in the back and an extra set of plywood was added to the inside and the outside of the stringers. That would be a good sign that someone had the floor off and did some structural work under there. How thick do the stringers look? If you don't have to core and it hasn't already been done, it would be very rare. Bill

I agree with the snow part. As soon as I could get my rig out of the yard (from the first snow) I headed south and haven't been back since. I am hanging out in Swannsboro N.C. for now , no snow but still to cold for me, thinking about heading one more state south triing to find 60 degrees.
Have you been able to get anything done one on the vector??
