Looks almost like the same seats as mine in wizards boat. 11th post. If your an s&f''er he might know. I would think they would have to be specific to these boats.

As far as gettin it wet, not lookin good. To cold. I know they run good in the cold but, I don't! lol

After I come back I'm pulling the motor so I can use the boat to pick up another one for the viper.

I'm starting with a 92 200 xri. It scored one cyl so it might go to Ruck for some other work . I just picked up a 15" gearcase with a titus cone and tillman worked skeg and tab so I'm going with a 15" mid. So far right now I have the gearcase and a alien cowl and a loose plan. I will pick up the motor as soon as I get mine off. Then I guess I will see how many motors I can sell to get some funds.

No #'s or shakedown on mine till spring. No good weather and the docks are pulled at the ramps. No way gittin in the water.
On my trim cylinder, all I did was unscrew the housing enough to put teflon tape around it and retighten and no more leak! That was easy!

Well, here it is. Motor this weekend. Couldn't do anything to it over labor day due to family re-union/camping trip.

How did you attach your seats to the seat box bases there? Is you can kind of see, mine wete just screwed down and while it held good it let water in around the screws and got the wood nice and wet.



Just trying to think of ideas on how to attach my seats again when the time comes. I am going to mount em on the floor again basically just like they were. I just want to make sure I do it the best way possible. I like sitting nice and low. Doesnt help I am over 6' tall too so its makes it nice.

I glassed them to the floor before I laminated over the floor. It was easy. Stay away from screws as much as possible. Easy way for water to saturate the floor. My trim pump and gas tank are held in place by stainless carrage bolts. I counter bored on the back side of the floor and sunk the bolts into thickened resin and covered them with more thickened resin. Worked great. Only srews used were the battery tray and rear seat hinges. I sealed those off with 5200.
The seat pedisals I think are only 4" tall. The original ones were still some what intact so I just used those dimensions.
I don't think thats how the floor was originally. Should be like mine but longer. One piece from the transom to the bulkhead. Well, yours will have to have a seam in it. My floor was exactly 8' long.
