Don't want to overpost here, but forgot pic of ride before we restored it. Bought when 12, sold to friend at 16...he just gave it back. Appears only thing I own that has appreciated

Thats awesome! I have an older Mongoose that I will get to one of these days. Back when they were great bikes and not the walmart bikes they build today.

Thanks! Valero is all packed up and ready for storage...so I had to find some project to keep me out of trouble
The quality of the bike is amazing, and all "made in USA" stamped...sadly, don't see that anymore. Actually, was comparing side by side with our Treks...welds etc all so much better on 'goose.
You would be surprised what the vintage 'geeses are going for on ebay, if you want to drag yours out and send me serial (usually under crank.) I can get year, type and value range.
The license plate has held up really well. I got it on ebay several years ago and guy offered several colors...haven't seen them offered lately though. I can look through purchase history to track him down if needed?
