just want peoples thoughts on how my virage would perform with a 250 3.0 efi 2 stroke. the 2.4 150 only pushed it 63. i was expecting more.

I would look for a good 2.4...200/225 or a 2.5 promax.

i went from a modded 260/2.5 to a 225 3 litre, i liked the way the boat handled better w/ the 2.5, i also had to reduce the setback w/ the 3 litre, i went from 12" to 8", speeds w/ the 2.5 were 112, the 3 litre went 109, the 3 litre is not stock either, but i got tired of rebuiling the 2.5 every 100 hours and dealing w/ expensive nicasil
1990 hydrostream virage stg3 112 mph w/ modded 260, 1991 21 skater 99.8 mph w/ wolf 3 litre, previous boats allison xr 2002 117 mph, hydrostream viper v6 merc 99 plus(no gps back then!)
