Steering wheel question from non-boater.
I was at the station filling up the Viking last week when a woman says," can you tell me why boats always have the steering on the right instead of the left like a car"?. I replied, "because all boats are made in England". Satisfied, she got in her car and drove away. I was still shaking my head as she turned the corner

Re: Steering wheel question from non-boater.
It's because of the torque of the prop.

Re: Steering wheel question from non-boater.
Yep Chet torque and you got plenty of it you need some offset weight that disapears after your launch

Re: Steering wheel question from non-boater.
I tried a trim tab on the port side last fall. I think it will work but needs improvement.

The steering wheel is on the right to provide an unobstructed view of the danger zone.

Because most are built on a strange planet called California, things are different there
