Just a few new pics of the old girl. Bolted the newly redone interior in it just to get it fitted. Gonna strip the carpet out over the long winter and epoxy paint the floors, add a new steering wheel, jackplate trim on the wheel, billet shifter, rigging tubes, and a kickin' stereo. (gotta have music to listen to while the local cops are writing my tickets). Just got my new trailer wheels Wednesday and have to get the tires mounted and get them on the trailer. Aluminum 5 stars from Shadow trailers in CA. My second hydrostream, had a Vector about 20 years ago and never lost the itch.
Nope. That is original 1983 five color gelcoat and the hull is virtually perfect. It was always stored with a full cover and it shows. Those pictures are of the boat after being in storage for over two years, and all I did was wash it with car wash soap and a hose in the driveway. Always regretted seilling my other Stream, and it was nowhere near as nice as this one. I will have this one forever. Not gonna make the mistake of letting this one go cuz there aren't that many nice ones around here anymore. Thanks guys, love this site and all of your boat pics and stories.

Feeling the same about my Vulture. With all the time and money and effort I am going to have in to it it I wont have the heart to get rid of it. lol I had a vking about 18-20 years ago I sold also and only had it for 1 summer and missed it really bad. Of course I knew nothing about set up and stuff like that back then so im sure knowing what I know now I could have got another 10-15mph out of it easy!
And I am glad you like the site and we hope you stick around.
Me too love the boat just thought it would match the Merc and black with the same stripes would show off the lines. I do like fine originals. Great boat!
