Good to hear!
Did you end up drilling the splines on the prop?
Wondering how to post images or maybe change your avatar or maybe something else?

Yup worked fine. I cut a piece of 1" pipe to make up the distance from the back of the prop to the nut. I have a small 1/8" gap at the perimeter housing. Again thanks a hell of a lot Chet.

Get a stat back in that looper! They like to run a little warm. On the subject of warm, glad to hear you've all still got a little summer left. I know it's brutal up there

Try some negative trim wedges. They might help that low speed porpoise. I know mine do.luckydog wrote:Hey all first ride under my belt!! Felt stable a little porpoising but very nice all and all. Had a temp issue on one side removed the 'stat and that solved the buzzer. Found the electric choke (richener) the hard way. A little intermittent in the spark still running through the engine de-carbonizer stuff. That old Looper pulls pretty good seems to have good torque. Stoked!

It's no worse than my 14' Lund with the 70 on it. I was impressed how the chine hooks kept it flat while cornering. Oh ya it's getting cold at night now I think we have one more week of mid 60's, then brrrrr.
