Mine is all gel coat. The white and the black. The black adds a nice texture that is not aggressive at all but takes the slip out of it. How it was sprayed, I'm not 100% sure, I was told by the man that did it it was his little secret, so you would have to ask Mr Carhart how he did it. LoL

This pictures doesnt do it any justice at all. Looks and feels amazing!

I was thinking gel, but thought paint would be easier. A light gray with blue webbing. Will be just flicked on with my finger or a brush. The easy way!

I would think gel would hold up a lot better than paint and also help with the waterproofing a bit more at the same time.

I am just worried about the whole poly over epoxy. West system is what I am using and they say no problem laying down polyester gel over epoxy. Will give it a try I guess.

I’ve been looking at rustoleum topside pretty heavily. Thought process is that if something were to happen, I can touch it up with something local. There is literally Nothing fiberglass sales related anywhere around where I live. S

I agree,...once you went to epoxy, you just limited what you can use now. Better stick with epoxy. Nothing wrong with it. You can add in non skid.

What did you end up painting the floor with? Just picked up a Ventura with new floor/transom that needs to be top coated. Need something I can roll on.

A guy I work with is getting into floor refinishing with epoxy based coatings, can be any finish, colour or design (marble look, etc). Been thinking about getting him to have a look at mine and see what he can do, at what cost.
