Hi everybody just joined this site and thought i would introduce myself .As you can see my screen name is Clamp-On but i grew up around fast jet's and vdrives untill a good friend of mine turned me on to outboards .The first ob boat i ever drove was his 1986 hydrostream vector with a laser injected 220 merc man what a ride after i learned how to keep it on the pad i was hooked . Curently i have a 1982 laser 380 ray with a 2.5 but i'am looking for a hydrostream v king
to restore . I love the classic line's and the history of the old school hydrostream's and hope to have one in the near future.

Good old Joplin. I have spent many of nights there on my way to Texas.

I have also been told by many residents there that that is also the gay capital of MO. True or not but I have seen some things around there I wish I wouldnt have after the bars close for the night. lol

Welcome to the site. If you want a hydrostream you have come to the right site. I recomend keeping an eye on a website if you are looking for a stream. A lot of them get linked to from this site but the best way to keep track of streams for sale is on a site called "Hydrostream Mash Site" here is the link.

There is a v king that is not to far from me i talked to the guy and he said that all it needed was a floor that the core was
ok but you know if it has spent any time outside with no floor that the core is shot . I got him down to $900 dollars on the phone but i would really only like to give $500 or less here is the link check it out http://springfield.craigslist.org/boa/1607438916.html

That boat is posted here and I can tell you just by looking at the pics that it will need a core. I wouldnt give him over $500 myself as it sits. Needs alot of work.
