HST rebuild

Post: # 10692Post NorthernHST »

Has anyone here ever taken the entire deck top section off of on HST, looking for some advice for a hull/stringer reconstruction this winter. I remember seeing it once on S&Fly but can't find it anymore. Anu info would be greatly appreciated.

I did it. You have cut the transom knees. Also cut the transom right in the middle where deck meets hull.

You will also have to remove all the foam at the sides because the foam also keeps the deck on the hull.

Good luck
