Bring on the snow!!!! Yuk!!!
Looks like Minnesota and Wisconsin is going to get nailed big time.
As I type this I am sitting in Hagerstown Maryland and at 6am centeral time I have to head for N. Carolina then back to Minnesota. I have a feeling I will not be home when I planned. Oh well, rather take an extra day or 2 then not get there at all.

I have no winter toys, and am getting tired of the cold weather sooner the older I get. I really want to move south, but I'm sure it won't happen.

I'm sure it would be different if I had a few things. I'm not old by any means at 27, and I don't want my little boy to not remember snow, or have some fun with it for a few more years. (He's two on the 29th of the month). Oh well, I'll deal with it. We're in the midst of a storm now on Christmas Eve, not supposed to stop until Sat, the same storm Hippie is talking about. Central Iowa is expected to get 5-10" after all the ice we just got. Yay.....

Yep, I will move south one of these years but I want my son (5 months old) to also enjoy the winters for a while. I had alot of fun when I was a kid in the wintery snow but now I hate it. LoL

Re: Bring on the snow!!!! Yuk!!!
Sometimes you do not have to move that far!
Where I live, most storms ( because of the great lakes) go around us. The eastern side of Lake Erie gets blasted a lot more than us.
Where I live, guys go maybe an hour north, or to upper Michigan to run the sleds.
2 out of 5 winter years I do not even try to clear the laneways..just drive over it.
After 40 years here, most winters at my parents we could clear it fast enough with a shovel.
After 20 years on my own..last year was nuts and I bought a snow blower.
I expect it to still sit where I parked it last spring, until the next odd winter snow fall happens.
I have a 4x4 atv.
If I want to go for a ride..I look at it as at least 11 out of 12 months if I stay away from the storm drifts.

Re: Bring on the snow!!!! Yuk!!!
I finally made it home and I have about a foot of the white stuff give or take a few inches.
I just want to do some year round riding on the motorcycle and year round boating would be a huge plus too.

Good to hear ya made it home Hippie.
I used to work at a sled dealer so the snow was fun but now I hate it. How's this for a view? That's a acura legend after this week.
