Oh I get it. Over a month later and im still packing and unpacking and putting things away from my move and it has kept me away from the internet a lot.
I just wish that the site would get back to even half the traffic and posts it once had. I feel like I have exhausted all my options and its just not working.
I have a couple friends getting off FB to get their life back. Don't know if this is a trend or not. Sure hope people will start trickling back on here. Would hate to lose this site.
If you closed it down, would the .org site go as well?
I sent in my Virage article to Mark Casper and did a follow-up email months later to see if he got it. Hope to see it get added to the list.

I have to admit I don't check into this site as often as I should So much different sites off of Facebook a guy gets lost in the boating world. Most of the time I get lost trying to load pictures because I'm computer illiterate and don't follow directions very well. But I do love this site and all that you have done for the Hydrostream community. Thanks Kevin
Well, its official... There is a 90% chance the forum will not make it to its 10th birthday in March. Looks like Facebook has officially claimed the life of this forum.
I am still trying to figure out what to do with things but as far the forum, I have lost the drive and due to almost no user interaction anymore, my heart just isn't in it anymore. I still have a HUGE passion for Hydrostreams and performance boating and I will not be giving that up but I just dont have the time to dedicate to keeping a forum running when its not being utilized the way it should.
Once I come up with a plan I will make an announcement both here and on facebook but as it stands, the forum part of the site will be coming to an end, sadly, sooner than later.

No .org would not go anywhere.
And if anything does happen, I will do my best to preserve as much info as I can here. Keeping everything up to date, spam free, and just keeping everything going on something that is just not being utilized is getting to be too much. I check in every day and as of this post, there has not been a single new post in almost 2 weeks and that was one or two posts that pretty much had zero replies and the new users have not come back since. I have exhausted all of my options and ideas to get people back here or get user participation up but nothing works yet I see A LOT of long time, once very active members, over posting many times a day over on the Facebook groups. As much as I dont want to say it, Facebook has officially claimed the life of this forum.
Im still here everyday hoping I see some activity but I see nothing. I wish people would post here and not only on Facebook. I am locked out of my Facebook account so I cant even get on there (been 2 1/2 weeks now and I don't really miss it) to see whats all going on, short of making another account and I don't have the time or patients for that. Thankfully I have AdamDK to keep the FB group in order until I can get back on there, if I do. LoL
But yeah, thinks are looking grim for the site if things don't pick up soon.
