Engine offset

Post: # 4745Post russelljwr »

I own a Hydrostream Vultur,e and I read that the boat motor requires a 10 inch offset from the transom. Is this true??? I am geting ready to buy all my parts and I do not want to get something that could cost me $300. Thanks

I run a 10 inch setback jackplate on My vulture. I haven't run it yet myself but the previous owner said that's what he found to work the best to get it to fly.

I have 8" setback on my Vulture but haven't had it on the water yet either. I would recomend 8" or more. Bill
