I have a 97 Grand Cherokee with the 4.0 inline 6 . Best tow rig I ever had. I went from a v8 explorer and this thing will out tow it any day. I have a 2" lift and 31" tires on it and have done nothing with the gearing. It tows my 21 Superboat or my Vector with no problems even with 3 kids and a weekends worth of camping gear!

I drove it for 2 weeks stock but I couldn't take it anymore. I put a 2" lift and some 31" tires on it last night.

Very nice. I have some 40's I will let go for a good price that with another 8-10 inches of lift would fit nice. LOL

Might have a line on some 33" bfg all terrains if you would like. Don't know if you could fit then or not.

Looking at the snow, you might want to exchange it for a urban assault vehicle or a tank or the town plow.
