Help with ID on Mercury motor

The serial number on my mercury is A905726. Can anyone help me with the year and any other info this may tell me. It is a 150hp Black Max supposedly. Thank you.

There should be a tag on the stbd clamp bracket.

Chet, My number was pretty worn off but I think it read OB375656. I tried to look it up (150-6) and wasn't sure how the ranges read but think 1989 :?: :?: :?:
