Thi is under the float boxes that I removed. If you can tell from the pictures it looks like two layers. It's a core sandwich so to speak So my question is when removing the core do I just take off the top layer of fiberglass and the core and leave the bottom layer(so to speak)? Any advice would be appreciated Thanks.
I know on the vectors, vipers, and varmints that the floor is installed then the gunnels core is install and it goes over the edge of the floor about 2 inches
There is no such thing as a dumb question when it comes to rebuilding these boats , I've ask my share of questions and the guys here sure have helped me learn a lot
If I'm seeing right that's the floor register, after they install the floor they glass over it then the put the funnel core, so that's the glass that was over the floor. Yes as you grind it it will fad away to the original hull
