Prop suggestions for my Venus
Just bought a 87 Venus with a just rebuilt XR4 150. It does a have power tramsom jack. I put on a 25 fury and it pegs the tach at 6,000 rpm and the tach only goes to 6.000. Will only use the boat for running around. Would like max speed. The motor does not have a nose cone. But thinking about putting one on. Was thinking a 27 to 29 cleaver or 27 to 29 fury.
Re: Prop suggestions for my Venus
I have no experience with that hull or the furry props. I can tell you a nosecone on a boat under 80 mph it will slow you down. is it a xt hull or a vbottom

It is the XT hull. The fury prop is the newest mercury prop made for bass boats and fast light weight hulls
