175 johnson tilt trim
My 175 will tilt up when im going slow but as soon as i give it throttle it like shoots back down to the down position. it likes shoots back down onto the 2 post that come out i think thats the trim then the single cylinder in the middel is tilt? but it seems the cylinder in the center wont hold up the motor under power and the pump was just rebuilt?

Re: 175 johnson tilt trim
The center ram is just tilt and usually doesn't support the pressure of any throttle. It should like you have your motor trimmed to high. Do you have any pics of your setup?
