Hello, folks, I am in the process of setting up my semi restored 1980 Vector, 150 HP Merc V-6, external trim in stern, fuel tank in stern, I am running out of room, this is going to be a 2/4 seater, has anyone moved their battery up under the bow

I have my battery in the front of my comp vandal. As long as I run a chopper its great. It really helped my handling and completely changed how the boat acts.

I agree with above. My battery was in the back for a couple runs, then I moved it to the front. Huge improvement in handling. Mostly due to counterbalance from my heavy motor.
